Nebraska-Omaha Race

From its beginning, the Susan G. Komen Nebraska Race for the Cure has grown each year: from 1,300 participants in 1994 to over 19,000 in 2010. We look forward to celebrating our 18th annual Race with an estimated 21,000 caring supporters.

Safety and Access
For the safety and security of all participants, please note the following:
     Race bibs will be required for access to all Race-related activities, including the sponsor expo.
     Rollerblades and pets are discouraged from participating in this event. Thank you for your cooperation.
This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Nebraska Race for the Cure®.

September 18th: All teams/team members must register by midnight; participants can still register “individually”
September 22nd & 24th: Team packet pick-up (captains or designee only)
September 28th: Online registration closes at midnight
September 30th & October 1st: Individual packet pick-up and Timing Chip pick-up, Mayflower Van & Storage; In-person registration available
October 2nd: In-person registration available on Race Day and Timing Chip pick-up (t-shirt pick-up not available for pre-registered participants)

No outside food or drink may be brought into the Qwest Center.

Chip-Timing and Awards
Those participants who wish to be officially timed must register as a chip-timed runner for an additional $5.00.Each chip-timed participant, even if they are a team member, will be responsible for picking up his/her own chip. Timing chips can be picked up at the Race T-shirt/Bib Pick-Up on Friday, Sep. 30 or Saturday, Oct 1 at individual packet pick-up, or on Sunday Oct. 2 from 6:00 - 7:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Qwest Center Omaha. Timing chips will not be distributed in the team packets.

Hotel Reservations
Courtyard by Marriott, on 10th Street in the Old Market, will be donating $15 to the Komen Nebraska Affiliate for anyone who books in the "Race for the Cure" block on Race weekend!
